Sorry, but I can't buy a $19 t-shirt with another $12.95 shipping... that's insane. That's paying almost as much just to be mailed the item as the item itself.
Dangit... I want to buy a t-shirt as, hell, it's my design, but I can't pay almost $40AU for a t-shirt. Call me a stingy, tight bastard if you will, but I haven't got that sort of money to spend on one t-shirt.
Seriously, you can't bring shipping down from that?
I'm just checking other sites now, and I see that cafepress Australia works out at pretty much exactly the same price for a tee shirt ($38.50), that's starting with a t-shirt price of $29, and then a $9.50 shipping price.
Ouch, I just checked tshirthell and they cost $26 Just in shipping... US!
*sigh* I don't know how anyone affords to buy tshirts online...
I can just hope that others do I guess... maybe I'll make enough from other people buying my t-shirt to be able to afford to buy my own one
I hadn't looked into it that much, but yeah, looks like they do go through cafe press. It's just a really slick interface that makes the barrier to creation really low.
In reply to this comment by dag: Hey that ClickShirt is pretty neat. Do all the designs go throgh CafePress? I agree that it would be great to be able to design online. It's definitely something we'll try and build into a later release.
In reply to this comment by spoco2: Now that I've looked through everything and how you have to submit... It's great to have the option to be able to submit any vector graphic created by yourself, that allows professionals and serious tinkerers to do as they do best.
However, don't you really need an online creation ability? The ability to create like the ClickShirt site comes to mind (not least of which because it's coded in OpenLaszlo, which is what I code in.
It may lead to entirely too many dodgy half baked designs, but I would think the voting system should weed out the crap... but at least it allows those with an idea but not the ability to use a full software suite to have a go.
Ahem.
*Sheepishly walks to back of room*
However, my comment does stand, not on this site in general but for t-shirts online as a whole, I never knew they were SO expensive!

Just an idea.
Still... I need to come up with something.
